Design District

 

The bustling, creative heart of Bajeskwartier is a great place to live. In buildings that combine design with sustainability, with the iconic Groene Toren (Green Tower) as your back garden.

The Cardinal

Status: in preparation

Main building

Status: in preparation

The former Main Building is being redeveloped and will contain around 35 apartments of approx. 45 m2, with a good mix of owner-occupied homes and rented apartments in the social and non-subsidized sectors. Studios and workshops, space for design, cultural activities and hospitality on the ground floor will provide an extra lively feel.

 

 

Central District

 

In the lush, green Central District, all kinds of homes will be created in bold and modern buildings. Owner-occupied homes in different designs and sizes, but social rented homes too.

The Robin

Status: in preparation

At first sight, the Robin building appears to consist of two parts; a high, slender tower and a broad, elegant foot. The building will have 129 owner-occupied apartments ranging from 45 to 116m2. The Starling

Status: in preparation

Around 185 rented homes will be created here, with a wide range of layouts and sizes in both the non-subsidized and social sector. There will also be a health centre, sports and fitness facilities and the best ice cream parlour in Amsterdam.

The Ruby

Status: in preparation

Whoever wants to live in an elegant residential tower block will have plenty of choice in the Ruby building. A total of around 96 high-ceilinged and light owner-occupied apartments will be available in the building, ranging from approx. 55 m2 to approx. 150 m2. Residents will share two beautiful green roof terraces.

Around 145 social rented apartments of De Alliantie will be built here. On the ground floor of the building there will be a green atrium and space for activities of the Healthy Living Lab.

 

 

Amstel District

 

In the Amstel District, you will live in iconic buildings in a relaxed world with gardens and water. Modern and sustainable, with everything you need at hand.

The Jay

At a beautiful location at one end of Bajeskwartier, the Jay will be built with approx. 135 non-subsidized rented apartments. A spacious and attractive communal ‘living room’ will provide a sense of community for residents.

The Oriole
